Didn't know it was "per spring". I figure my Reno load came it at about 3500, maybe 4000 lbs. Had to take the old Whitebird Hill and Lewiston Grade in 2nd gear, but the springs were still good back then. Really heavy stuff has always gone in the M35, but it's been dead-lined for 2 years now -- cranks and cranks but won't fire, despite plenty of fuel pressure out of the final filter.
