While trying to find out if there are any synchro transmissions which would be a direct swap for the non-synchro in my 1947 PW, I ran across this article and BAM, a name made me say, "Hey, that guy writes stuff in the forum."

So, is there a synchro transmission that is a direct swap for the non-synchro in my '47?

BTW, drove it in and out of the garage today on its own power, steering, and brakes to get new wheels and tires installed. Ok, no cab yet, so the seat is a blue plastic milk crate on top of a plywood and 2x4 platform. Sorry about no pic, but I don't know how to attach more than one photo per post.

Who's truck is that?
