Hi Marty,
Yeah, I have a brook that runs in front of my house and my driveway crosses it. They love to dam up underneath my bridge as it offers a half built dam right off the bat! I have found that if I pull out a dam, they put back about double that amount the next night. They are amazing but pretty destructive. I keep a .22 near by to discourage such behavior.
