I have acquired a 47 powerwagon, 0 rust and in great shape. The question is, the motor is shot, not sure on tranny either yet. I am wondering what direction to go. Do I simply restore and if so, can I regear the tranny to be more driveable? ie: get a highway gear or something a bit more highway. I would hate to simply restomod the truck as there really is zero rust. I mean zero. Any suggestions would be appreciated with company links for tranny. Thanks.
