Its really nice seeing those shiny blue panels in the garage, having trouble getting up the courage to take sandpaper to them to try and knock down that orange peel.
Practiced with one of the floor pans I painted, but they're not great for that since I didn't body work them, so they're not perfectly flat and I burned through a high spot, not a big deal on the floor pan, but would be heartbreaking on the cab. It was helpful for seeing what to look for, but it's hard seeing that shiny panel all hazy and scratched, even knowing it will hopefully look even better once I'm done.
