Front Spring Woes

1949 FFPW

I had a new set of front springs made but with less than 50 highway miles they are falling apart. After talking with the seller and the company that actually made them (outfit in Omaha) I was sent shackles to replace the sheet metal clips but they are far from straight and square. I am also concerned about the 1/4" gap that recently showed up between the bushing and the front eye loop.

I don't drive the truck every day but tend to carry heavy things. Long story short I am looking for a different spring manufacturer.
