Here we go again with another question on, leaf springs. In the process of restoration, afer removal of the leaf spring packs rom my truck (1/2 ton WC) I am interested in the following:
1) How should I approach spring restoration- I don't just want to take them off, sandblast and paint them.
Should I have them taken appart rearched and each leaf primed and painted and reassembled?
2) How do I know if rearching is necessary? Is it exspensive? The truck appears level and not sagging.
Any advice on this task would be appreciated.
