First, check the springs for broken leaves. When I re did mine, I had them add one leaf. (pretty cheap) It now sits level, and the springs have an arch.
Be sure to make spring travel stops that bolt to the frame to limit axle travel. I used 3"x2" rectangular tubing. The 3" dimension faces the spring. There is about 1 1/2" of clearance between the axle stop pads and the tubing. Normal driving, heavy bed loads, and mild off roading has yet to have the stops contact the axle pads. This will prevent the springs from bending flat or over center which will ruin them fast.
