A quick and easy check is to look at the swivelling spring shackle. Most of these trucks seem to have been designed / manuafactured with the front swivelling spring shackle absolutely vertical (both the grase fittings in a vertical line) In use most have pushed forward a little at the bottom, allowing the springs to go flat. If your swivelling shackle is vertical (or just about) it probably does not need re-arched. If the shackle is pointing way off vertical it needs doing. I got another 3" of lift put in the fornt of my Carryall springs when I put the winch on and it sits and rides fine. Do keep the original spring leaves if you can, as they are covered in original part numbers etc. Gordon
