MU2 winch shifter fork bracket source?

I'm in need of a winch shifter fork bracket. VPW has been out of them since at least December 2013. I'd make one myself if I had a mill at home... Anyone know of a difference source? That's the only part I'm missing.

If I find one, any tips on what to do so it does not fall off and get lost again? Is thread locker enough on the bolts that hold it in place?
