over thirty five years os replacing or rebuilding wheel cylinders on light trucks , the LARGER bore was all ways on the front the smaller to the rear > Why ? Pascals laws of hydraulics larger bore greater mechanical advantage hence more pressure applied to the front brakes which do most of the braking.THe smaller bore in the rear means less mechanical advantage from the master cyl> Just like a hydraulic jack 20 ton jack has a little piston pumping fluid into a big cylinder But i could be wrong on this application . left and rights are determined by the bolt holes and the bleeder screws that should be at the top of the wheel clyender when installed > open for discussion ~ J
