First time charging of a new battery

Hi all,

Got a new large low maintainance battery and put in the acid.

Let it sit for more than 30 minutes.

It is a 12 volt, 30 ah(10hr) rated battery.
Not sure what all that means.

I have a 1 amp trickle, a 2-6-10-50 amp chargers.

Directions say: PLACE BATTERY ON CHARGE FOR 3-5 HOURS AT THE APPROXIMATE CURRENT EQUIVALENT OF 1/10TH OF IT'S RATED CAPACITY.

????How to figure volts into amps to find the correct charge setting?????
