@ home sand blasting and por15

Has anybody had experience with the at diy sandblast equipment (Eastwood, or Harbor Freight)? I have my truck stripped to the frame and am ready for sandblast and am looking at doing it at home because of the transport costs for getting it to the local blast shop.

It's a 76 W200 frame with about 3 coats of peeling paint and rusty metal in the bare spots.

Once it's stripped and cleaned would anybody recommend por15 or powdercoating. I'm not after the show look, just a nice looking refurbish, with a nice looking heavy coat of black on the frame, to prevent further rust?
