I have an 86 Dodge Custom Royle that has a starter problem that I can not figure out. when I use it a couple of times a week it starts just fine. when it sits for a couple of weeks you turn the key on and wait for a relay I assume to power or warm up and there will be a "click", and the gauges will come to life and it will start. It seems to be getting worse and I have had that dash apart several times looking for the relay or whatever is causing this problem and can not find it. It is definitely under the dash as I have had a buddy stand out under the hood to listen for it and he hears nothing. Has anyone encountered this before?
