It will be interesting to see what he comes up with. My impression is that he is new to electric vehicles, but he seems to be really doing his research.
I've always thought that an Electric M37 might make an interesting vehicle. If you don't interstate highway type speeds or extreme range, that simplifies the EV design a good bit. An M37 is already neither high speed nor long range (at least not on a single tank of gas). An electric motor's high torque, even at low RPMs could be an interesting match up.
