To all dodge owners: I was truly lucky to of found a 1 owner family owner 1947 dodge power wagon 32000 miles garages entire life. 6 volt , grand water , water, son sold to me.Winch and all. in great shape no rust. : My question is should I leave it the way it is or start to bring it up to modern conveniences. it's not my only truck. I do a 1950 GMC three on the tree which I'd like to convert to a more modern running system 350/ 350 turbo. I have not run yet we're still working on getting the old gas out of it clean the carburetors train fuel tank get in working order. what is everybody's thoughts. I would like to change to a 12 V system and possibly put a small cummins in it. but being it's a barn find and a one owner it makes me hesitant to do anything.
