I went through nightmares getting the driveline on my carryall to work reasonably. Things banging, horrible vibrations, parts rattling.. Drove be bonkers tracking down as much as I could.
In the end I fixed everything I could find. Then for the rest? I figured F&*^ it! I'll drive it 'till something breaks. And that's what I did. Run it to destruction. And yes did completely destroy a NOS rear end. And at one point my clutch shattered. But now? Its been running great for over 6 months as a daily driver. And its a LOT quieter without adding over weigh oil or sawdust.
Sometimes you just got to let the issues ripen. Its not the end of the world to break it. You can fix it. That's what I had to tell myself.
