You got that right. !! Well heres what makes this so hard to live with:
I took out a decently working non-stock transmission
(Read that as no noise like this) and replaced it with a correct 1/2 ton tranny, in my quest to get closer to a perfectly stock truck. Only to spend countless hours (and more and more $$) to have gone backwards in my continued quest to make the truck better. It’s now worse than it was!

Yes, true enough!! I’m at a point I don’t need any damn reference material for reassembly any more I’ve done this so much!!
