Brake question

1950 flat fender.
I�ve replaced literally everything brake wise and they kinda work. I used one of those one man brake bleeders which seems to work. I think I adjusted correctly per the manual and YouTube.
The pedal goes almost to the floor, one pump brings it up a bit so I may still have air in the lines.
It stops but it�s scary.
1. Any suggestions?
2. Is there a �residual valve� in the master cylinder?
