thought i had brakes

my truck should have been done 4 months ago. any way i went to get the brakes bleed out today and got a pedal but noticed the reducer fitting in the front of the slant top master is leaking. i loosened the line up and took a little more on the fitting and same thing, it still leaks .. its a brand new master. first time its had fluid in it. anybody run into this problem.. my buddy bought the same one and his top is leaking..
