we have run into that same problem over the years with old school cars and new 2018 parts. When you think the fitting is tight its not. You have to give it more than you think. then she stops leaking. My son calls me over and says go ahead you tighten it. Its gonna break. And so i give it some more turns and i say see i told you. Go for it. she will stop leaking.
