Jim,
Did you set the float to the correct specs like the manual says? Also, check the needle and seat. This puke gas we are running in our vehicles can wreck havoc on the rubber of the needle. I’m not a 3/4 ton guy, but the carb you have there doesn’t appear to be the correct one for your truck. That being said, the one you have there should work just fine.
