I've noticed a lot of issues with fuel lines and carb diaphrams. Yes, most of the newer stuff is "supposed" to be built to take it but most of my stuff is old(like me) and hard to find stuff for. Generally if you do find it, it's old stock and not made for it. Putting a fuel shutoff on a weedeater is pretty tough when your dealing with so little space. If I have a choice on small engines, I'll use alcohol free. Sorry.
