Well, that was easier than I thought it would be. I heated the pin up on each end until it was red, then as it cooled down enough that the penetrating oil wouldn't smoke off, I was able to twist it with a pipe slipped over the end and drive it through with a big drift. I like easy fixes. I put in a new pin with marine grade wheel bearing grease surrounding it.
