Years ago I had a gunsmith build a Remington Rolling Block rifle for me. His name was A. C. Johnson, from Mariposa, Ca. He made a barrel for the R. B. action chambered to a .44 Win Mag necked down to .357. He treated the steel with a similar process. What a beautiful little rifle that was. Unfortunately I had to sell it years ago to get through one of the long winters here in the '70s in Idaho.
