if you have to ask, then you haven't done the conversion - just kidding. seriously, i chose to go with the 4 wheel discs as part of a total redo of the orig brakes. the drum system can certainly be made to work well. i jumped on the opportunity to update the braking system to easily obtainable parts and that i had actual experience with drums and the problems associated with infrequent use. in my experience, the drums rusted when not exercised and the wheel cylinders developed pits. i added a dual master cylinder to my system. i have safe reliable part that are easy to keep in adjustment and service. once installed, the service interval is longer and changing pads is easy when needed.
