WC brake job. Tips?

I am about to tackle an overdue brake job on my 1942 WC 3/4 ton. I have new shoes and wheel cylinders to install.

Any tips, advice or special tools I need to be concerned with before I start?

I searched the google looking for a detailed step-by-step "how to" but didn't find anything; is there anything like that available on the www---with pictures?
