There is no engine number anywhere. By the looks of inside and a lot of measuring it is definatly a NOS engine.
I had thought of the Israeli engines but there are a few differences. Mine was origanly green when I got it a long time ago. It has a forward facing sump. The oil breather is a normal type and has a by-pass style oil filter.(which was fitted incorrectly fitted)Also the oil slinger was fitted incorrectly so its lucky the engine was never run for very long. I`d say it was test run and that was it.
It`s fitted with Lucas dizzy and starter motor.
