I can't get excited about any form of mobiles except Airstreams - often thought they would look good behind a PW and I was disappointed to find out they didn't make any product during the war - not even for the army. Co-incidentally Fred C is an authority on Airstream history as well.

They do keep turning up everywhere in the background of a lot of shots, so I'd guess they are popular with Dodge, Sno-Cat, and truck people too.

I did consider bringing one here to Scotland and just hitting it with acid-etch primer and OD paint - give me somewhere to sleep and remove one excuse for not taking the Dodges to shows, that would.

Just got to bring the wife round to the idea.

Anyone got any Dodge + Airstream pictures?
