Message:   What u want is the NP445. It is synchro all 4 gears, close spaced ratios so u can actually use 1st gear and was a sweptline factory option. I have one behind a 383 in a 70 W100 and it is sweet. Ive easily hit 70 in 3rd before shifting to 4th and that is with 4.10 axles. Ive downshifted into 1st while rolling at 25 mph. The only one Ive ever seen in a wrecking yard got crushed before I could get it.
