Message:   the 833 never came in a swepty, and if your running mechanical bell and clutch already swapping in the 833 would be easy. all the cars were mechanical, use the car bell and clutch and your set. as far as the hump goes, the trucks hump is taller and wider then the cars, so fabbing a bump isnt really needed. the ones i have seen installed were covered with nothing more then the shift boot. yes its off to the side a bit, but practically the whole shifter is under the hump, only the handle sticking thru. keeps the hole size to a minimum. plus you could run the cool pistol grip shifter. i have one sitting here for my truck. its going in this summer if all goes right. got all the parts, just need the time to install it. not being used for truck duty any more, the 833 was the only choice i could see.
