Message:   This post has been totally cool. I have enjoyed reading it from start to finish. I think this is the kind of trip most of us dream about taking, and you have documented it well. What did you spend on gas?
I will mention that this is not the first W200 that has made a cross country trip to a new owner. Look in imageevent at TOTW for 7-20-03. Believe it or not, that green 68 W200 was driven from Pallyup, Wa to Lafeyette, Ga not long before it was parked like you see it. It was parked due to a radiator leak. Not quite as happy ending as yours, LOL.
