Message:   Aside from the rainy weather.... we all had a great
time! I had to make sure Frank enjoyed some genuine
Buffalo chicken wings. Mike now owns a real nice
Power Wagon . I was glad that Frank was able to
drop by my place and see what I've got going. I showed
him some REAL western NY rusty Sweptlines . My
wife [Colleen] and her friend Marianne chose to hang
with us rather than attending a celtic festival....
a testament to their true enthusiasm in Sweptlines
[uhh.... and also because the festival was a bit
soggy ] They both insisted on reading this entire
thread this morning and got a kick out of being a
part of the photo-record of Frank's journey [Colleen
is on the right.... Marianne on the left in the new
owner's garage]. Hopefully.... Mike will stop by my
place in the near future.... he's only 17 miles away.
The reality of having that truck delivered to him
sunk further and further in as the night progressed.
To say he was happy is an understatement. I think
he's got the "fever" already. I'd lay good money that
he's out driving it as I'm typing this.
Our thanks go out to Frank for including us in his
cross-country journey.... we all had a blast. It is
always great to meet a fellow enthusiast. When you
are in our area again visiting family.... be sure to
drop by for a visit.
John
