Since this conversion was done by another shop, A lot of important unknowns are introduced.

1. Are the calipers and rotors, the proper ones. You can go to the Helitool Web Site
www.uglytruckling.com and look at the disk brake conversion instructions. There, Ray
Lists the proper calipers and rotors and the vehicle / year they were used on.

2. Your 1&1/16 master cylinder is to small. Ray suggests the use of a 1&5/16 master cylinder. I have used the 1&5/16 master on 5 disk conversions and its really need for proper brake activation.

3. Firewall flex is a huge problem, not mentioned in the Helitool Instructions. On my 5 disk conversions, there was ALWAYS firewall flex until I added additional support steel where the master/booster is mounted. You could sit in the cab, push on the brake pedal and SEE the Master/booster tilt up. I measured the movement, it was almost 1/2” inch
