This morning a guy arrived, after driving 6 hours from New York City to pick up a large stationary planer with his Jeep Wrangler.
It fit after we took it all apart. But all the time he was here he was telling me how great his Rag Top Wrangler was off road. So finally I decided to take him to the shop and show him my PW. I opened the door and his first words was "What year Jeep is that".
Then he wanted to take pictures of it to show his buddies. He said I bet they have never seen anything like this. I tried to explain it was not a jeep but rather a Power Wagon. Nope.......he would not accept that it was not some older Jeep. Ok........
Then he wanted to see how we make Maple Syrup. I told him I would show him the Sugar House and take him up in the Sugar Bush where we tap. On the way to the Sugar House, with his sandles and shorts on, I casually said, Keep your eye out for the BIG Rattle Snakes. This is the time of the year that they have the young with them. They are so mean, they will strike at trees and rocks. He almost turned white, asked what time it was, and said he had to go, he was running out of time.
I am ashamed of my self (grin) We got no rattle snakes !! He will talk about the Jeep and The Rattle Snakes when he gets home.
