I have used DOT 5 fluid in my Power Wagon for 45 years. I have also had to replace my brake switch many times. I even put in some DOT 5 safe switches, which failed after a period of time. I solved the problem by putting in Greg Coffin's under the floor brake booster and installing a mechanical switch. Problem solved.
