My father's 1936 Cadillac LaSalle only had a keylock on the passenger side. There was a simple toggle on the inside of the door to lock or unlock from inside the car. I drove that car in high school. My girlfriend thought it was the coolest thing that the lock was on her side of the car. I still have the LaSalle. 4-door with a flathead, straight-8 and a 3-speed floor shift transmission.
