My '51 basket case came with the original passenger side door which had a separate door lock below the handle and the hole in the door for the mechanism. The drivers door is not original to the truck and has no hole for the door lock mechanism. I think I have seen a truck that had only a passenger side separate lock mechanism. I could be wrong. So, do I fill the hole on the passenger door or leave only one separate lock? I am at the point where I need to do one or the other.
