Here is another. I had already finished mowing the side between the creek and guard rail along the road. I had not mowed the creek banks yet and was trying, on this side, to get as close as I could to avoid having to do a lot of backing of the mower down the banks. The edge of the bank gave away and I slid down into the water. Here I have disconnected the mower and have positioned my other truck at the top of the hill to the left to use its winch for a straight on pull to drag the front of the stuck truck sideways.
What I do not have pictures of is the giant hillside about a half an acre ahead of the stuck truck. It is too steep to drive a Power-Wagon straight up unless the grass was very dried out. So, I mowed it across the side hill. Doing so, the truck was at more of an angle than what you see it here on the side of the creek bank. Any further off-camber and I would have let it grow and return to nature.
