I can't say that I've had a problem with my truck wondering down the road, even at 60mph. I do experience it when there are significant grooves in the road from accidents or farm machinery that has been dragged along. If you keep the steering knuckles tight, and the toe-in where it should be, it really shouldn't be a problem. What is a problem is when we rebuild the steering knuckles, and you don't seat the bearings. I have found that you can adjust them to specs and if you seat the upper and lower bearings, the knuckles will loose foot pounds of drag and have to be readjusted. If you don't do this, within a short distance of driving, you'll have loose knuckles and the vehicles tendency to wonder down the road.
