I'm sorry to see the predicament you're in, I used to find myself in the same situation until I bought a couple of sheet metal breaks. I bought an 8' 12 gauge monster,and a little 2 foot finger break, I use them all the time to fab up stuff from roof flashings to PW running boards, I would suggest picking up a small break it'll make you're life much easier.
