I have bent short pieces like that up to and including 14 gauge without the proper tools, ie a brake etc. But I do have three vices (3", 4 1/2" and 6"), more than two dozen C clamps, up to 12", hammers up to 16 pounds, a torch, and a welder, etc, etc. I also have various pieces of steel, flat bar, angle iron, channel iron, square box, and pieces of I beam up to 8" wide x 21" deep to clamp and hold it in place.
Before attempting to bend the thicker material, I clamp it to the work bench or an I beam with a piece of flat bar or light angle beside the line, then lightly score it end to end with a thin zip cutter disk in the mini grinder.
For me with those rounded 90 degree bends, I would take it over to my Iron Worker buddy as he has a hydraulic press and a refrigerator in his shop. But for you, yes, I think you would be wise to take it to a fab shop. JJB.
