It appears the outlook for much snow in the near future is slim, so I guess I have no more excuses for not starting on my front brakes on the WDX. Last time I drove it, when I applied the brakes there was a loud vibration in the front and the steering wheel pulled hard to the right.
I just read Gordon Maney's Power Wagon Service publication re: brakes. I must say Gordon's manner of presenting information logically was not only instructive but entertaining. I never had the pleasure of meeting him, but we did communicate several times by email. He had become aware that I was going through some serious surgeries and chemo for cancer. At the time I wasn't even aware that he had his own health struggles that eventually took his life. I wish I could have become more closely acquainted with him. Such vast knowledge he had of mechanics.
