I don't know. I think it was rears. I just remember reading axle seal wearing quickly at higher speeds. Maybe it even said something about leather material?

I now have two FFPWs and am "modified" restoring one, which will be used for hauling stuff, and another which I have no idea what to do with. It would be nice to be able to use it to haul a very light race car around, but that entails speeds of at least 65 mph, if not 70 mph while towing. And it sounds like modifying it for those speeds would make it into a money pit, one thing after another. My eyes glaze over when I start thinking about modified bell housings or adapters, or moving transmissions, or cutting up floor pans to accommodate a different transmission, or fabricating linkage. Costs can skyrocket on those types of projects, and what are you gonna do once you start other than finish it as it costs more and more.
