We were still making square and hex PTO shafts fir AG in the late 80's/early 90's. We got out when the company was found liable for a farmer losing his balls when he stepped over a spinning PTO after removing the factory installed guard.
They removed the whole department, machinery and tooling, and layed off 10 people.
