Dodge started producing the M601/M615 (modified WM300 - Third Series) in 1957 with a 230 engine, and a radiator shell name plate of "Fargo". The Military Ordnance Catalogue Truck Code is G834. The truck in the image was produced after 1961, it has a 251 C.I.D engine due to the extended grill, and "Dodge" name plate. The serial number for the truck is on the outside of the frame above the axle on the drivers side. Is that number stamped there?
