so i guess its like a flathead where the nuts are on the engine side? if so they all get installed and tightened from the bottom. they even made a special looong wrench for the job. i have never had the long wrench and done it the knuckle scraper way with shorter wrench.
you may have to slide studs in just enough to get the nuts started then gradually draw the studs/flywheel in while tightening the nuts.
