Has anyone assembled a 315 poly? I got the long block assembled but went to put the flywheel and the bell housing on and found that there is no way I can see to get the nuts on the flywheel bolts short of removing the pan. I have read the dodge repair manual from stem to stern and can find no reference to assembly steps or when to attach the bell housing and flywheel. The one thing I do know is that the bell housing has to go on first, as there are two bolts coming from the inside of the bell housing. I have looked for other manuals on the 58 poly engines with no results. Does anyone know of another manual or have any knowledge of the assembly of these engines? any help would be appreciated.
