Well after having the 1/2 ton WC for 35 years, I have my first electrical problem.😔. I used it yesterday and all was peachy. I fire it up today and the ammeter pegs at near full charge. The battery is charged since yesterday the ammeter was showing barely a charge. I checked basically all the wire connections for tightness. All good. With the key turned off the ammeter needle goes to zero. I am hoping it is the VRY 4202A regulator that finally gave up the ghost. I have several more units which I know are good. Will switch to one of themand see what happens. It just will not kick down the amperage. I installed a new Vintage Wiring Of Maine harness 6 years ago. Truck is always under a canopy. I’m not a happy camper at the moment. Any of you good people have some ideas as to what possibly could be the problem. Thanks a lot for any help. 👍👍👍👍
