It looks to me like there is a jagged rust hole at 11:00 in the middle of the photo. It does not look like a shadow because of the edges and the direction of the light source. But, it may be a shadow and I am just looking at it wrong?
It isn't rust removal that I would have difficulty with. It would be repairing that hole. It doesn't look like a part that I could just weld a new piece of sheet metal in, and it doesn't look like a part that anybody is going to part with.
